Marine Harvest follows the revised version of the Norwegian Code of Practice for Corporate Governance issued on December 4th 2007, and issued by the Norwegian Corporate Governance Board (NUES) at 21 October 2009.
Good corporate governance rests on responsible communication between shareholders, the board of directors and executive personnel in the long-term pursuit to develop the company’s role as the leading player in the salmon industry.
The group’s steering documents are regularly reviewed, with special focus towards risk management and internal control in the group.
